Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking an art-driven designer in Glendale, CA to create artwork supporting early story development and production design. You will work under a Production Designer and Art Director to craft visuals for characters, environments, costumes, and props, aligning with location and camera needs.

Hybrid role requiring three office days per week, with a compensation range of $89,752 - $135,000. Collaboration with Story, Modeling, Surfacing and Layout teams is essential to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Create artwork that informs the early story and visual development process and well as the production process once the look of picture is defined.
• Work under the guidance of a Production Designer and Art Director to generate artwork related to characters, environments, backgrounds, costume and prop design.
• Support the Story, Modeling, Surfacing, Matte Painting and Layout departments on design specifics required for establishing locations and cameras.
• Ensure all timelines are met.
• Communicate progress of work to production staff.

Basic Qualifications

Location & Working Arrangements

• Salary Range: $89,752 - $135,000
