The DRC Administrative Associate (Administrative Support Assistant II) provides administrative support for the department and serves as part of the DRC team. As the first point of contact for individuals calling, contacting, and visiting Disability Resources, the Administrative Associate must exhibit excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills to support a fast-paced office environment. The Administrative Associate triages emerging situations and makes appropriate referrals, requiring extensive knowledge of office policies and procedures. The Administrative Associate maintains confidential disability-related documentation and has access to sensitive student information, ensuring strict compliance with privacy regulations, institutional policies, and confidentiality standards. The Administrative Associate should be flexible, forward-thinking, and adaptable.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
