Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in Houston seeks a Drayage Operations Coordinator to support truck procurement and oversee drayage and intermodal operations across North America.

You will procure and negotiate truck rates, coordinate day-to-day drayage, monitor carrier performance and KPIs, assist with invoice reconciliation, and identify cost-saving opportunities while collaborating with Operations, Sales, Pricing, Finance, and branch teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of ocean freight, drayage, intermodal, trucking, or transportation operations experience
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of trucking operations, shipping documentation, and Incoterms is a plus

Responsibilities

• Procure and negotiate truck rates
• Coordinate day-to-day drayage and intermodal operations
• Monitor carrier performance and vendor KPIs
• Support invoice reconciliation and billing activities
• Identify process improvement and cost-reduction opportunities
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Pricing, Finance, and branch teams across North America
• Ensure data accuracy and quality control within operational systems
