Maersk Freight Brokerage in Dayton, NJ seeks a Drayage specialist to deliver exceptional service to clients and carriers. You will leverage deep knowledge of port operations, brokered freight, and strong communication to drive timely deliveries and efficient operations.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with carriers, pricing negotiations, and market analysis for drayage and OTR services, with full benefits and a standard 8–5 schedule.

Competenze

• Demonstrated expertise and experience in Drayage with port operations knowledge.
• Proven track record in Logistics/Trucking and drayage delivery.
• Strong self-starter with ability to work without constant supervision.
• Deep understanding of transportation and Drayage terms for stakeholder communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Word/Excel.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated self-starter capable of independent results and KPI focus.

Mansioni

• Cultivate and maintain carrier relationships for Drayage services and port operations.
• Research and resolve freight and billing issues for shipments.
• Maintain regular communication with carriers and brokerage leadership.
• Track shipments daily to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments efficiently.
• Negotiate pricing and perform market analyses for drayage and OTR services.
