Job summary

Maersk Freight Brokerage in Dayton, NJ is seeking a Drayage specialist to deliver exceptional service to clients and carriers. You will leverage port operations knowledge and brokerage expertise to manage drayage tasks, pricing, and scheduling.

You will build strong carrier relationships, resolve freight issues, and drive KPIs in a fast-paced environment, with full benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Drayage and port operations.
• Proven track record in logistics/trucking and brokerage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with carriers.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain carrier relationships with a focus on drayage.
• Research and resolve freight and billing issues efficiently.
• Track shipments daily and coordinate pick-up/delivery.
• Engage in pricing negotiations for drayage and OTR services.
• Communicate with carriers and leadership to align goals.
