Job summary

Carole Fabrics, part of the Hunter Douglas family, seeks a Machine Operator to trim drapery panels’ excess lining and fabric using flat or vertical tables. You’ll clamp, measure, and verify hems per work tickets while inspecting for flaws and ensuring precise cuts.

• Ability to read a work ticket and tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Trim excess lining and fabric from drapery panels.
• Clamp fabric to tables and check hem lengths per ticket.
• Inspect fabric for flaws and cut accurately.
• Operate table and serging equipment safely.
• Adhere to all safety rules and report hazards.
• Assist with lifting and moving fabric as needed.
