Hunter Douglas in the United States is seeking a Banding Technician at Carole Fabrics to apply custom banding and trim to drapery products. This hands-on role requires precise sewing, fabric handling, and adherence to production orders while supporting team quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn fabrics and production processes.
• Ability to operate sewing machines (training provided).
• Ability to read and follow work orders and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Apply custom banding and trim to drapery products with precision.
• Fabricate tiebacks and sew components including tabs, Euro-hems, and stiffeners.
• Insert chain weights and prepare ripplefold tape as required.
• Read and follow work orders to ensure accurate production.
• Inspect cuts and finished products to maintain high quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Cross-train in other production tasks to support the team.
• All other duties as assigned.
