Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Drainage Project Manager for its Design Build (DB) Organization in Oakland, CA. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s in Engineering, with strong leadership, hydrologic/hydraulic modelling, and coordination across disciplines.

You will oversee scope, schedule, budgets, and client satisfaction, mentoring teams and coordinating with partners to deliver on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• 2+ years of task management or Deputy PM experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation and assist in technical proposals and contracts.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage project team to meet scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Perform technical tasks including analysis, reports, design, specifications, and production.
• Lead the project management plan development and execution.
• Coordinate staffing, recruitment, development, and performance reviews.
• Support business development and client relationship building for strategic projects.
