Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Drainage Engineering Intern for our Sandy Springs, GA team next spring and/or summer 2027. You will expand your engineering skills with direct mentorship within a world-class infrastructure design team.

You will assist with hydrologic analyses, drainage design, CAD work in MicroStation, and project support while meeting deadlines. Candidates must be enrolled in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a 3.0+ GPA.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Familiarity with CAD and MS Office is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform drainage calculations, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and mapping under supervision.
• Assist engineers with technical tasks, troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Support project tasks: design, scheduling, tracking progress and deadlines.
• Research to support engineering projects and stay updated on industry trends.
