Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects.
• Perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery in partnership with the project team.
• Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Leverage technical knowledge to assist in project execution and evaluation.
• Develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects for HNTB’s clients.

What You'll Do

• Complete assigned work within scheduled time and hours.
• Prepare or modify project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Develop project quantities and assist with cost estimates.
• Support engineering teams with organization and administrative tasks related to design files.
• Perform research, data collection, field investigations, and project development and design tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is preferred.
