Job summary

Ardurra invites a Drainage Engineer to join our Transportation team in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on drainage and water resources design for FDOT and municipal projects, including stormwater systems and conveyance infrastructure.

We seek 4–6+ years of related experience, a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET program, and a Florida PE license or a plan to obtain within six months. Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.

Responsibilities

• Support drainage design for FDOT roadway projects and municipal transportation work.
• Develop drainage concepts and perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
• Prepare drainage calculations, reports, and design plans per FDOT criteria.
• Assist in coordinating with FDOT, local agencies, and internal teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and EITs; perform QA/QC of drainage plans and documents.
