Job summary

Kisinger Campo & Associates (KCA) is seeking a Drainage Engineer to assist with the design and analysis of stormwater systems for roadway and infrastructure projects in Florida. You will gain hands-on experience in hydrologic and hydraulic engineering under close supervision.

You will help senior engineers with modeling, drainage calculations, and preparing construction plans and reports, using industry-standard tools such as ICPR, HY-8, GEOPAK Drainage, and OpenRoads Designer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
  • 2–6 years of relevant experience.
  • EI license is preferred but not required.
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.

  • Support the design of storm sewer systems, culverts, and erosion control measures.

  • Gain exposure to floodplain management and drainage solutions for transportation projects.
  • Follow detailed instructions and increase independence over time.
  • Work primarily under administrative supervision with tasks tied to specific objectives.

Job description

As a Drainage Engineer, you will support senior engineers in the design and analysis of stormwater systems for roadway and infrastructure projects.   • Use drainage and design software such as ICPR, HY-8, GEOPAK Drainage, and OpenRoads Designer
  • Gain exposure to floodplain management and drainage solutions for transportation projects
  • Follow detailed instructions and work toward increasing independence and technical confidence over time
  • Work primarily under administrative supervision with tasks assigned based on specific objectives
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required
