Champion AC and Plumbing in Austin is seeking a Plumbing Drain Service Technician with a Texas Plumbing Apprentice Card to join our hands-on team. You will learn drain cleaning, camera inspections, and hydro-jetting while working with experienced plumbers and delivering excellent customer service.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with others. You will assist with calls, maintain tools, and participate in ongoing training to progress toward

Qualifications

• MUST POSSESS A VALID TEXAS PLUMBING APPRENTICE CARD.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Prior experience in a related field (e.g., general labor, construction) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with drain service calls, including clearing clogs, camera inspections, and hydro-jetting.
• Learn to diagnose drain issues and recommend solutions to customers.
• Maintain and organize service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures.

• Be available for occasional on-call shifts as needed.
