Job Description: Drain Cleaner at FloHawks Plumbing + Septic

Join FloHawks Plumbing + Septic as a Drain Cleaner and be part of a team dedicated to providing top-quality drain cleaning solutions for residential and commercial customers. Utilize tools like video inspection devices and hydro jetting equipment to diagnose and clear blockages, ensuring customer satisfaction. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will be valued in this hands-on role.

Compensation: $25 to 30/hr to start (depending on experience)

Benefits: Full Family Medical Plan, Pension, and Great Union Benefits!

Schedule: 4-day work week (rotates Monday through Saturday), 10 to 12+ hour days, totaling 45 to 55 hours per week

Location: Puyallup, WA

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent drain cleaning service while representing the company professionally and courteously.
• Perform drain line video inspections to identify issues.
• Use hydro jetting or mechanical tools for preventative maintenance and clearing clogged drain lines.
• Maintain clean work areas and a clean service vehicle.
• Document all work performed accurately.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Communicate problems and propose solutions effectively.
• Comply with all DOT, state regulations, and company safety policies.
• Represent the company professionally when driving and during service.
• Utilize tablet technology for service documentation.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork daily.
• Maintain a good driving record and valid driver's license.
• Meet all DOT and company physical and medical requirements.
• Complete safety training and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Age 21 or older
• DOT Medical Card or willingness to obtain one
• Safety consciousness
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime
• Willingness to travel and occasional overnight stays
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Verifiable stable work history
• Experience with logging and recordkeeping
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions and city traffic
