Just Drains Sewer & Drain Service in Howell, NJ is seeking a full-time Sales Technician to diagnose drain issues at homeowners' properties and present permanent repair options. You will be the first point of contact, guiding customers through pricing and financing while closing sales with your field supervisor.

You will travel to service areas across New Jersey, work outdoors in various conditions, and follow a structured sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to present options and discuss price and financing.
• Experience in drain, sewer, or plumbing service.
• Strong communication skills with homeowners.
• Willingness to follow a structured sales process and take field coaching.

About Just Drains

Just Drains Sewer & Drain Service is a residential drain, sewer, and plumbing company based in Howell, New Jersey. We diagnose and repair drain and sewer problems for homeowners across the state. Our work runs on a structured sales process, a written scope on every job, and a two-person approach to every major repair decision.

Position Summary

This is a full-time field sales position. Sales Technicians spend the workday at customers’ homes, diagnosing drain and sewer problems and selling the repair. The Sales Technician is the homeowner’s first point of contact on every job. You will solve the immediate problem, work with your field supervisor to recommend permanent solutions, and help the customer choose the right repair.

What You Will Do Each Day

• Coordinate each job from the first visit through completion.

• Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction on every job.

• Follow a structured sales process, checking in with your field supervisor at set points on every job to confirm the plan, scope, and pricing.

• Meet with homeowners, listen to their concerns, and identify their needs before recommending service.

• Present good, better, and best repair options at the homeowner’s table, review financing, and close the sale with your supervisor’s support.

• Relieve pressure in drain lines using drain snakes.

• Resolve the issue the customer called about first, then use the sales process and your field supervisor to offer permanent solutions.

• Travel to customer homes across the service area to diagnose drain and sewer problems.

• Work outdoors and on site in all weather, including basements, crawlspaces, and yards across New Jersey.

What You Bring
