Job summary

Martin-Marietta is hiring a Dragline Operator to operate an electric power dragline, perform routine maintenance, and support plant operations on long shifts. The role requires attention to safety, adherence to procedures, and teamwork in a heavy equipment environment.

You will be trained on site with opportunities to grow and contribute to efficient production. Valid experience with heavy equipment and the ability to work 10–12 hour shifts is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric dragline excavator and assist in maintenance
• Start, monitor and regulate dragline equipment per safety standards
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections and complete reports
• Assist with setup and operation of other plant heavy equipment
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA rules and plant procedures
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment and work area
• Report needed repairs to supervision
• Flexibly take on additional tasks to support operations
