Job summary

Martin Marietta in Texas seeks an experienced Dragline Operator to operate electric draglines and assist in heavy equipment maintenance. You will perform daily inspections, document conditions, and follow safety procedures. Training at Dallas corporate office is required, with travel reimbursement for long commutes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of electric dragline operation experience or related heavy equipment experience.
• Experience using a variety of hand tools.
• Ability to read equipment operating manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate dragline excavator and assist in maintenance.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections and document results.
• Start, monitor, and regulate dragline operations per safety standards.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions using SOPs and adjust equipment to maximize production.
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA rules and wear required safety gear.
• Support plant maintenance and operate other equipment when needed.
