Job summary

SLAMcore is seeking an experienced Dragline Operator in Elburn, IL. The role involves operating a Manitowoc 4600 dragline, performing underwater extraction tasks, and completing site prep with excavators and dozers as needed. Day shift hours are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience operating Dragline equipment.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, varied shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform underwater sand & gravel extraction and site prep as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

All Dragline operational duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and the individual works as a team member. This Dragline is a Manitowoc 4600 friction type with twin diesel engines. This is an Operating Engineer 150 position and will work the day shift subject to change

Dragline Operators are given primary responsibility of performing all underwater sand & gravel extraction tasks to include site preparation with excavators and dozers when needed.
