Job summary

NYWDS is seeking a motivated Draftsman with design skills to join our architectural team. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and craftsmen, drawing and modeling across project phases from concept to construction documents.

Qualified candidates have a professional degree in architecture or design, strong English communication, and experience turning ideas into buildable reality. AutoCAD and Rhino skills are essential; licensing support is available for growth.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture or design (BArch, BFA) required.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Experience delivering design to physical realization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design with project team, clients, and consultants.
• Draw and 3D model all phases of projects from concept through technical drawings.
• Manage drawing sets with discipline.
• Render design concepts and details with efficiency.
• Assist PMs with zoning analysis, client meetings, material specification, and DOB filing.
