Job summary

Kitchen Magic, a family-owned kitchen remodeling company based in Nazareth, PA, is seeking a Draftsman to support remodeling projects by producing detailed drawings from field measurements and reviewing contract documents for accuracy.

You will inspect ongoing jobs, collaborate with Installation and Service departments, and help ensure installations meet specifications while maintaining scheduling and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of drafting, construction, home remodeling, or related experience required.
• Physical: lift up to 50lbs, stand up to 8 hours, and perform bending/reaching tasks.
• Ability to travel to customer homes and job sites for measurements and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate field measurements and produce detailed drawings for all departments.
• Review sales contract documents with customers to ensure accuracy and production alignment.
• Present and verify products with customers using samples and digital images.
• Reconcile sales information and update digital reports based on field data.
• Inspect ongoing jobs and warranty service cases, providing feedback to teams.
• Follow up with prior customers to support satisfaction and create revenue opportunities.
• Perform EPA-required lead testing on painted surfaces and ensure compliance.

Position Summary: The Draftsman supports the remodeling process and quality assurance through providing detailed and accurate information for purchasing and installation and conducting field inspections. The Draftsman reviews the sales contract documents with the customer to ensure all components of the project have been considered and all products are accurate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take accurate field measurements and produce detailed drawings of kitchen and bath projects for use by all departments
• Review and confirm sales contract documents with customers to ensure accuracy and alignment with production requirements
• Present and verify products with customers using physical samples and digital images to confirm selections and reduce disputes
• Reconcile sales information and update digital work reports based on field measurements and customer feedback
• Conduct inspections of ongoing jobs and warranty service cases, providing detailed feedback to Installation and Service Departments
• Perform follow-up work appointments with prior customers to support satisfaction and generate additional revenue opportunities
• Conduct EPA-required lead testing on painted surfaces to ensure compliance with regulations and proper installation procedures.
• Other job responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• • Education Required: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Years of experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in drafting, construction, home remodeling, or a related field required.
    
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed, carry 25lbs regularly, and stand for up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to bend, reach, squat, twist and kneel.
  • Skill requirements:
    • Ability to travel to customer homes and job sites to take accurate field measurements
    • Must be able to carry and present product samples, tools, or materials weighing up to 15 lbs occasionally
    • Ability to sit for extended periods while preparing drawings and working on a computer
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and navigate active construction or remodeling environments as needed
