Job summary

A high-end architectural millwork firm in Northern VA is seeking a Drafter/Submittal Engineer to support multiple projects and assist the Engineering Manager. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience with AutoCAD and Microvellum, strong communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. The role is primarily sedentary with minimal travel, and offers a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience drafting/drawing with AutoCAD and Microvellum.
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
• Experience with millwork production methods and fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities

• Record and track the status and completion of tasks.
• Communicate and collaborate with engineering and production team members.
• Prepare written communications regarding engineering and project material.
