Job summary

Alpha 3 Consulting, LLC is seeking a Drafter I to support designers and engineers on electrical substation and utility projects in Elkridge, MD. The role is full-time with a hybrid schedule: three days in office and two remote days.

The ideal candidate has an associate or bachelor’s in engineering or a related field with drafting experience, and is eager to learn in a team environment. Salary range is disclosed below.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of CAD tools and drafting practices.
• AS/BS in Engineering or related field, plus drafting experience.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD tools to develop substation project drawings.
• Create one-lines, schematics, layouts, site plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and vendors.
• Support onsite walkdowns with the design team at various project stages.
