Job summary

Alpha 3 Consulting is seeking a CAD Drafter in Elkridge, MD to support designers and engineers on electrical substation and infrastructure projects. The role is full-time with a hybrid schedule—three days in office (Tue-Thu) and two from home.

You will generate 2D/3D drawings, assist with one-lines, schematics, and layouts, and coordinate with vendors and the design team throughout project stages.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD tools and drafting standards.
• Ability to interpret layouts, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Strong teamwork and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD tools to develop substation project drawings.
• Create one-lines, schematics, electrical layouts, site plans, and wiring diagrams as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and vendors to refine drawings.
