Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Drafter 3 for a position in Atlanta, GA. This role involves utilizing 2D and 3D CAD to create models and drawings from information provided by designers and engineers. The successful candidate will revise existing drawings for plant retrofit projects and conduct on-site walkdowns to gather field data.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with 2D and 3D CAD to develop models and/or 2D drawings based on information provided by designers and engineers.


• Revise existing 2D drawings to support plant retrofit projects.


• Support with plant-site walkdowns to obtain field data and dimensional information for design purposes.


• Utilize CAD software and design tools effectively.


• Apply knowledge of engineering design principles and standards.


• Lead small projects as required.


• Build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff, and/or vendors.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 7-10 years of drafting experience is required.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency with CAD software and design tools is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• An associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferred.
