Job summary

Belcan is seeking an On-Site Drafter/Detailer in Windsor, CT. This full-time, direct-position offers full benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with engineering experience.
• Two years minimum CAD drafting experience.
• Proficiency in CAD NX and Teamcenter PLM.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Job description

An On-Site Position, Drafter/ Detailer job is currently available at Belcan in Windsor, CT. This is a full time, direct position with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have skills with using NX and some practical drafting or detailing experience. You will be part of a team: applying drafting standard practices, methods, and techniques for a variety of products within the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Use appropriate drafting standards to produce various detail, assembly, and layout drawings, or other diagrams and schematics to transform the design into amore useful visual representation.
• Revise drawings to conform to design change orders.
• Assist design personnel, as required, in all other aspects of drawing creation process.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of an Associate degree with engineering experience.

Required Skills

• Minimum Experience: Minimum of Two (1) year of experience.
• Technology: Proficient in the use of CAD NX, and other computer processing tools. Proficient in the use of PLM data management software Teamcenter.
• Citizenship: Due to the nature of the job, US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance.
