Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a skilled Draughtsman (Offshore) to prepare accurate drawings and design documentation for interior fit-out and facilities projects. You will translate complex requirements into detailed layouts while ensuring compliance with standards and client specifications.

Collaborating with architects, engineers, and site teams, you will refine drawings, review revisions, and support project execution to achieve precise, actionable design solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Draughtsman in interior fit-out or similar fields.
• Experience with offshore or GCC region projects is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to translate design concepts into accurate drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, layouts, and design documentation based on project specifications and design requirements.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to gather technical inputs and project requirements.
• Develop drawings and layouts that accurately represent project workflows, structures, and design intent.
• Calculate dimensions, material quantities, weight limitations, and project requirements.
• Prepare and review preliminary sketches, concept layouts, and detailed design drawings.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to review drawings and ensure technical accuracy.
• Identify potential operational or design issues and recommend improvements to enhance functionality.
• Modify and revise drawings based on project updates, technical reviews, and client requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable regulations, technical standards, safety requirements, and quality guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, technical documentation, and design files.
• Ensure all drawings and project documents are properly archived and preserved in accordance with company requirements.
• Support project execution teams by providing technical drawings and clarification when required.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure design intent is properly implemented during project execution.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman (Offshore) to support interior fit-out and facilities projects through the preparation of accurate technical drawings, layouts, and design documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating project requirements into detailed drawings while ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulations, and project specifications. This role requires strong technical drafting capabilities, excellent visualization skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams to deliver accurate and functional design solutions.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Revit.
• Experience using 3ds Max.
• Knowledge of Lumion Pro for visualization and rendering.
• Experience with Enscape will be an added advantage.
• Ability to prepare accurate technical drawings, layouts, and presentation visuals.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards, design principles, and construction documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma in Drafting & Designing or a Technical Qualification in Drafting & Design.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Draughtsman.
• Experience within Interior Fit-Out, Facilities Management, Construction, or related industries.
• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC region will be highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of design interpretation and technical drawing preparation.
• Ability to accurately calculate material requirements and project specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines effectively.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
