Job summary

Subsea7 in Houston seeks a draftsman/designer to produce offshore installation method sketches and rigging drawings. You will create concise CAD models using AutoCAD, Inventor, or Civil 3D to support concept development and ensure drawings meet Subsea7 GOM Drafting, ASME, and ISO standards.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to collect input, generate clash-free designs, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in Drafting and Design, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in a drafting or design role in related field.
• Proven ability to produce clear, accurate drawings and sketches.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of Inventor or Civil 3D is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare offshore installation method sketches, rigging and Seafastening drawings.

What experience would we like you to have?

• Proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD.

• Detail oriented to ensure consistent quality of drawings & documentation.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, concurrent/multitasking fast paced environment
