Job summary

Qualifications

  • Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis.
  • Create engineering drawings for production and manufacturing.
  • Prepare complete documentation packages for engineers.
  • Verify drawings are correct to specifications and codes.
  • Develop technical reports for engineers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Drafter who will support engineers by creating and updating prints for all products. The drafter will help with ensuring that all programs will have proper documentation and prints while allowing engineers to design products as needed.

U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are authorized to access information under this program/ contract.

Essential Functions

Experience and Skills
  • SolidWorks 5+ years’ experience.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Interpersonal skills to work within a team, taking direction from Project Managers and Engineers.
  • Time management skills to complete error‑free work within the required timeframe.
  • Communication skills with an emphasis on reading and writing for creating documentation and reports.
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities to develop creative solutions
Education
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
  • Associates Mechanical Engineering or SolidWorks Certification, preferred. (Bachelor’s a plus)
