Job summary

Antenna Research Associates, Inc. is seeking a Drafter to support engineers by creating and updating prints for all products. The drafter will help ensure programs have proper documentation and prints while allowing engineers to design products as needed.

U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications

• High school or GED is required; associates degree preferred.
• SolidWorks experience with engineering drawings and documentation.
• Ability to create and verify engineering prints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering drawing workload.
• Help standardize documentation for designs.
• Complete ECO and Redline print updates.
• Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis.
• Create engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing.
• Create design specifications, documentation, and material lists.
• Prepare complete documentation packages for engineers.
• Verify drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations.
• Developing technical reports for engineers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
• Associates Mechanical Engineering or SolidWorks Certification, preferred. (Bachelor's a plus)
