Job summary

Encompass Services, LLC is seeking a pipeline drafting specialist to create alignment sheets, plats, exhibits and permit drawings using AutoCAD for pipeline projects.

You will prepare plan, section and detail drawings, reflect as-installed field conditions, and compile maps and lists from approved details, working with designers and engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance in oil and gas applications.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years drafting experience or education equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and legal descriptions drafting.
• Oil and gas industry experience required.
• Reading and understanding maps, plat maps, as-builts, construction drawings and gas service records for existing condition interpolation.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with Route Mapper and/or Plat Mapper preferred.

Qualifications:

• Applicants will have a basic understanding of survey procedures and data collection and a level of knowledge to work independently.
• Ability to work on multiple projects using raw field data and computer data.
• Ability to apply land surveying methodologies, formulas, principles, and techniques to solve surveying related problems.
• Ability to review their own work for accuracy and completeness and the initiative to recommend solutions or improvements as appropriate.
• Customer service and team oriented.
• Should demonstrate they are a self-starter, organized, attentive to detail, and able to work under stress to meet deadlines.
