Job summary

Encompass Energy Services, LLC is seeking a pipeline drafting professional to support project teams in Houston. You will create AutoCAD drawings, prepare plan/profile designs, and draft exhibits and permit documents for pipeline construction.

Responsibilities include reflecting field conditions from sketches, and producing maps, forms and lists from approved designs. Prior experience with oil and gas projects and knowledge of legal descriptions are required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years drafting experience or education equivalent
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and legal descriptions drafting
• Oil and gas industry experience required
• Reading and understanding maps, plat maps, as-builts, construction drawings and gas service records for existing condition interpolation
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with Route Mapper and/or Plat Mapper preferred

Qualifications

• Applicants will have a basic understanding of survey procedures and data collection and a level of knowledge to work independently.
• Ability to work on multiple projects using raw field data and computer data.
• Ability to apply land surveying methodologies, formulas, principles, and techniques to solve surveying related problems.
• Ability to review their own work for accuracy and completeness and the initiative to recommend solutions or improvements as appropriate.
• Customer service and team oriented.
• Should demonstrate they are a self‑starter, organized, attentive to detail, and able to work under stress to meet deadlines.
