Mesa Associates, Inc. is seeking an Electrical CAD Designer to craft detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts for power and industrial projects.

You will use AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD tools, collaborating with engineers and designers to meet project milestones. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field and 1+ year of hands-on AutoCAD/Revit experience; 3D modeling is a plus.

Qualificações

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• 1+ year experience creating drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar; 3D modeling experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain drawing revisions and engineering documentation within company systems to ensure accurate records.
• Work with vendors to obtain technical information, component specifications, and documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to design standards, drafting practices, and engineering processes.

This role focuses on the drawings to create electrical system designs. You will collaborate closely with electrical engineers, designers, and project engineers to produce detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and supporting documentation that enable the successful build and installation of systems in the electrical power generation industry. The position is ideal for someone experienced in creating electrical drawings, control panels, and automation systems using AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable drawings.

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience creating drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. 3D modeling experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

Education

Associates or better in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.

Experience
