Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in San Antonio is seeking a Guest Service / Server Assistant to support restaurant operations. You will greet guests, assist servers, and help maintain a clean, efficient dining room while delivering a consistent guest experience.

The role requires knowledge of menus, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Training will cover safety, service standards, and beverage handling.

• Must have knowledge of the floor plan and table numbers as outlined in training.

Job Purpose: The primary responsibility of this position is to serve and clear food and beverage items from the guests following the procedures taught during training. Adept at all service functions while interacting with guest and maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment. Physical Requirements:

• This position will spend 95% of the time standing and 5% of the time sitting
• The individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly
• Ability to bend and reach above head holding up to 10 pounds frequently

Working Environment:

• Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat and water
• Must show ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Possesses stamina and energy to remain active and move quickly for up to 10-hour shifts
• Ability to hear, understand and respond to guest and staff requests in a loud environment
