Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Dozer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated, with responsibility for safely operating a dozer and related equipment on daily operations.

The role includes performing inspections, maintaining work areas, and assisting with haul roads, drainage, and training of coworkers as needed. This is an on-site, full-time position at our facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities.
• Experience in maintenance and operation of mobile/construction equipment and/or processing plants.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of a dozer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dozer within company guidelines and safety standards.
• Participate in safety inspections and follow MSHA safety rules.
• Construct haul roads and drainage; prepare drill bench as needed.
• Aid in loader production by breaking down surge piles and maintaining piles.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections and report needed repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean and well-kept.
• Maintain safe traffic flow throughout the site.
• Operate other equipment such as loaders and haul trucks as needed.
• Assist in training coworkers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
