Sundt Construction is seeking a Dozer Operator with prior experience; mining background preferred for work on steep slopes. Overtime is required and a pre-employment drug screen is conducted.

Rate is $35.56/hr plus cash fringe benefits, with 60+ hour weeks and a $1,246 weekly per diem for qualified candidates. The role entails safely operating heavy equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating with the crew to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum three to six years of industrial/construction equipment experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment including dozers, backhoes, loaders, graders.
• Perform preventative maintenance and pre-shift walk-arounds.
• Maintain positive relations and deliver high-quality work.
• Identify improvements and mentor others.
• Ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Eliminate waste in processes.
