Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking Trackhoe Heavy >1/2cu operators with prior experience, especially those with mining background for steep slope work. 60+ hour weeks, pre-employment Drug Screen, and per diem of $1,246 weekly for qualified candidates. Base rate is $36.64/hr plus cash fringe benefit, with estimated project duration of 1 year.

Qualifications

• Minimum years in industrial/construction heavy equipment operation (3+ years Level I, 4+ Level II, 5+ Level III, 6++ years).
• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards and use all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-shift walkarounds and maintenance for assigned equipment.
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew and provide feedback on materials and tools.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and share knowledge with team.
• Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans and specifications.
