Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking an overnight Security Supervisor to lead/security personnel from 10PM to 6AM in Newark, NJ. You will supervise staff, monitor CCTV and alarms, and respond to incidents, ensuring safety and policy compliance.

A valid NJ SORA license and driver’s license are required, along with 18+ years of age and English proficiency. The role emphasizes leadership, incident response, and clear communication with management.

Qualificações

• At least 18 years old and able to work the overnight shift.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA License and a valid Driver's License.
• Prior supervisor experience is required.
• Must understand and communicate in English (verbal and written).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate security personnel during assigned shifts.
• Assign posts and ensure proper area coverage; monitor CCTV and alarms.
• Conduct regular patrols; respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Prepare incident and daily activity reports; enforce policies and safety rules.
• Train and guide security staff; handle conflicts and communicate with management.
• Ensure equipment is operational and manage shift handovers.
• Communicate with law enforcement when necessary.

Responsible for leading and coordinating security personnel during an assigned shift to ensure the safety and protection of people, property, and assets. The role involves supervising staff, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents and emergencies, and enforcing company policies and procedures. The supervisor also prepares reports, manages shift coverage, and serves as the primary point of contact for security operations during their shift. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to maintain a secure and efficient environment.

Wednesday to Sunday - Overnight (10PM to 6AM)

Up to USD $25.00/Hr.

• Supervise and coordinate security officers during assigned shifts.
• Assign posts and ensure proper coverage of all areas Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms, access control).
• Conduct regular patrols to maintain safety and security Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches.
• Prepare and submit incident and daily activity reports Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations Train and guide security staff on duties and protocols Handle employee or visitor issues, conflicts, and disturbances Communicate with management and law enforcement when necessary.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report issues Perform shift handovers and brief incoming supervisors.
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must have supervisor experience
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
