Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Armed Shift Supervisor to manage a team of security officers at client sites in Florida. The role emphasizes enforcing post orders, conducting rounds, and ensuring timely reporting to protect people and property.

The ideal candidate has a Florida Class D Security Guard License with Armed D&G clearance, 21+ years old, and strong English/Spanish communication. Flexible shifts and a focus on customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of U.S. work history may be required.
• Class D Florida Security Guard License and Florida Armed D&G license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to understand both English and Spanish.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts.
• Strong customer service and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of security officers and lead staff at client sites.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed; file reports.
• Provide coaching and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Train officers on post details and protocols.
• Coordinate with client representatives to meet security requirements.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and incident response.
• Inspect posts and ensure adequate coverage.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.
Monday - Friday 0600 AM - 1400 PM
USD $21.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.

• Functions as an Armed Shift Supervisor for a team of Security Officers, Lead Officers and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site, acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers, reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Inspects posts as schedules and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Class D Florida Security Guard License
• Must have a valid Florida Armed D & G Guard license.
• Military experience a plus
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum High School Diploma / GED
• Must be able to understand both English and Spanish and communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends
• Customer Service Experience is required
