Hyatt Place Hyatt House Indianapolis Downtown is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to provide warm, efficient service in a fast-paced dining area. You will take orders, deliver meals, and ensure a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, inputting orders into the POS, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with the F&B team to uphold brand standards. Part-time hours offer growth in a supportive hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in serving or hospitality preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
• Check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs.
• Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately.
• Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization.
• Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
