Job summary

City of Randleman seeks a dynamic Downtown Development Manager to lead signature downtown events, build community partnerships, and drive economic revitalization.

You will work with the Downtown Advisory Board to implement strategies and align initiatives with municipal planning, library, and parks programs. This role reports to the Community Services Director and offers a pathway to official Main Street designation.

Qualifications

• Experience in event management or municipal planning.
• Familiarity with NC Main Street Center approach preferred.
• Strong organizational and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute Randleman’s major annual events.
• Build relationships and partnerships to secure downtown funding.
• Partner with Downtown Advisory Board to develop economic revitalization strategies.
• Guide Randleman through NC Main Street framework to achieve designation.
• Report to the Community Services Director to align downtown initiatives with municipal services.
• Serve as liaison for downtown businesses, investors, volunteers, and tourism partners.
