Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation Administration, Sports Management, Physical Education, or closely related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in public recreation, youth sports administration, or event planning.
• Valid driver's license; CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months; CPRP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and schedule youth sports leagues, clinics, and camps (basketball, soccer, baseball, softball).
• Assist with planning, marketing, setup, and execution of large-scale community events and festivals.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise part-time staff, scorekeepers, officials, and volunteer coaches.
• Coordinate field and gym schedules; ensure facilities are prepared, safely maintained, and equipped for games and events.
• Serve as primary contact for parents, coaches, and community partners; address inquiries promptly.
