Job summary

Plantible Foods seeks a Downstream Project Engineer to own the engineering and field execution for biomass processing and product conversion. You will bridge process experts and the teams designing, supplying, and building our facilities, covering biomass prep, extraction, separation, filtration, drying, and packaging, with a focus on safety, operability, and reliability.

You will lead interfaces across process, mechanical, piping, electrical, and controls while driving design decisions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process, Bioengineering, Food Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into scopes for external partners and vendors.
• Coordinate multi-discipline interfaces and drive decisions to closure.
• Lead design reviews with internal experts and external engineers.
• Plan commissioning and startup activities with Operations and Maintenance.
• Maintain project deliverables, risks, and schedules.
• Ensure hygienic design and process utilities alignment.
