Job summary

EVERY is seeking a Downstream Process Engineer II to optimize our production bottlenecks, advance improvements from the lab, and implement them at pilot and commercial-scale biomanufacturing sites.

You will perform unit operations such as TFF, depth filtration, chromatography and spray drying, coordinate tech transfers to external facilities, and partner with internal scientists to scale bench ideas. Willingness to travel up to 25% and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3 years of industry experience in downstream processing.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of TFF, depth filtration, chromatography and spray drying.
• Experience leading tech transfers to pilot or external facilities.
• Excellent communication across teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the downstream process via iterative lab-to-pilot cycles.
• Perform unit operations (TFF, depth filtration, chromatography, spray drying).
• Develop and review tech transfer documentation for scale-up trials.
• Coordinate with pilot-scale vendors for internal and external trials.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to scale bench ideas.
• Analyze results and report data for follow-up experiments.
• Communicate findings effectively in meetings and written reports.
• Adhere to safety, compliance, and departmental guidelines.
