Job summary

EVERY is seeking a Downstream Process Engineer II to optimize the production process from lab scale to pilot and commercial-scale biomanufacturing. You will work with the downstream team to implement improvements, perform unit operations, and drive tech transfer to CMOs.

Ideal candidates have a BS in chemical/biological engineering with 3 years of industry experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% internationally.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field with 3 years of industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of downstream unit operations (TFF, filtration, chromatography, spray drying).
• Experience executing tech transfers to pilot or CMOs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to coordinate with external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Optimize downstream process through iterative lab-scale experiments and scale-up to pilot plants.
• Operate unit operations at headquarters and support tech-transfer activities.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and CMOs for scale-up trials.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to implement bench ideas at pilot scale.
• Prepare and review tech transfer documentation.
