Sterling Multi-Chem LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our downstream business in the Corpus Christi area. You will oversee field personnel, customer service execution, and business performance for specialty chemical treatment programs serving refining and petrochemical clients.

The role emphasizes safety, staff development, and delivering measurable improvements in reliability and total operating cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or business is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight+ years of relevant experience in industrial water treatment, process chemicals, or downstream technical service.
• Three+ years of experience leading employees or managing multiple accounts.
• Proven experience supporting refinery, petrochemical, or similar industrial customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet site access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and operational leadership across assigned accounts, ensuring staffing, coverage, and timely completion of commitments.
• Develop, coach, and manage account managers, site leaders, and service personnel; set safety and performance expectations.
• Oversee delivery of water and process chemical treatment programs and monitor against targets; drive value and reliability improvements.
• Manage revenue, gross margin, expenses, and staffing productivity; pursue pricing, deployment, and cost-control improvements.
• Coordinate with business development and legal resources; support renewals, bids, and expanded scopes.
