Job summary

Just Evotec Biologic in Redmond, WA seeks a Manufacturing Associate I for downstream purification. The role offers day shifts (Wed-Sat) and opportunities to work on bioprocess operations, QC/documentation, and new technology introductions in a collaborative environment.

You will perform core manufacturing steps, draft procedures, manage batch records, and support equipment like autoclaves. A science degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering; or Associate’s degree in a science-related area with relevant experience; or High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong focus on doing things right the first time and attention to detail.
• Effective task/time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop solutions to technical issues of moderate scope and communicate results clearly.
• Motivated, self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Good interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills; excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor critical processes (single-use bioreactor operations, perfusion, chromatography, product filtration, and solution preparation).
• Support the introduction of new products and technologies into the facility.
• Initiate non-conformances (NC).
• Execute Electronic Batch Records (EBR) using Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Draft and revise Manufacturing Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support operations of glasswasher and autoclave.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
