Job summary

Tally Personnel, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to assist in designing and documenting downhole tools, surface pump systems, and process equipment under supervision. You will contribute to drawings, testing, and field support while learning company products and standards.

Ideal candidates have a Mechanical Engineering background, CAD exposure, and a willingness to learn. Office-based with potential field site interactions and emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience or academic exposure to CAD (3D modeling and 2D drafting).
• Familiarity with Simulation and CFD exposure is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, evaluation, and production of fabrication drawings per customer and company requirements.
• Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software under supervision.
• Support fabrication shop by answering drawing-related questions and incorporating revisions.
• Assist the supply chain with specifying components and reviewing vendor documentation.
• Learn and apply industry standards, regulatory codes, and company standards in designs.
• Provide technical support to field operations with guidance from senior engineers.
• Assist with minor design modifications to improve manufacturability, cost, or reliability.
• Support development and maintenance of design plans, ITPs, and testing standards.
• Maintain organized product documentation for manufacturing and field operations.
