Job summary

Salamander Solutions Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design, test, and improve downhole heating systems and related surface equipment.

The role focuses on electrical designs, power distribution, control systems, and documentation, working with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Sales to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions. You will perform analyses, select components, support field deployments, and help ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE and IEC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 4–8 years of experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
• Experience with design software, schematic development, and system troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, controls, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and support electrical systems for downhole heating and surface equipment.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and documentation.
• Perform electrical analysis, component selection, and system validation to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop practical and cost-effective solutions.
• Support product development, testing, troubleshooting, and field deployments to improve system performance.
