Job summary

Plateau is seeking an experienced Training Analyst in Arlington, VA to develop and deliver training material for a DoW client, with in-person and virtual sessions. Role partners with government stakeholders, maintains the training site, and ensures quality across all materials.

Responsibilities include preparing instructor materials, converting content to new formats, scheduling courses, QA, and mentoring junior analysts, while coordinating system training and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is highly desired.
• Four or more years of experience in a training development and delivery role for a large organization.
• Two or more years of experience developing and delivering training courses for DoW organizations.
• Experience using CBT tools such as Adobe Captivate to create multimedia training materials.
• Experience using LMS such as Blackboard to manage training courses.
• Ability to write training scripts, develop storyboard plans, and edit training media.
• Strong presentation skills in a client-facing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of instructor material and required job aids, templates, and reference materials to support different training platforms/formats.
• Maintain a digital training site to manage all approved course offering.
• Conduct a quality check/quality assurance on all data provided.
• Lead the conversion of traditional learning materials to alternate learning formats, such as using video streaming and/or state of the art technology.
• Assist in the development of a master schedule(s) of courses.
• Identify and resolve any issues that may detract from professional training presentations.
• Assist with development of such software or system, training for the system, implementation of the system for delivery of training and/or meetings, and actions to archive or save data and recordings from the system as needed.
• Mentor junior training analysts in the preparation of training material and instructional delivery.
