Job summary

Maximus seeks a Principal Cybersecurity Architect to define and sustain cybersecurity architecture for mission-ready systems in classified environments. This onsite role requires TS/SCI clearance and alignment with DoW standards, performed in a classified setting with award contingency.

Responsibilities include developing enterprise architecture, defining security requirements, and ensuring integration across platforms while adhering to NIST, RMF, DoDAF, and TOGAF directives.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of enterprise cybersecurity and architecture experience.
• DoD 8140 certifications (CISSP/CCSP/CISM) required (at least one).
• Familiarity with DoDAF/TOGAF, NIST SP 800-53/800-171, RMF, and eMASS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise cybersecurity architecture aligned to DoW standards.
• Define security requirements and ensure architecture-level integration across systems.
• Maintain alignment with NIST, DoW and DISA directives, and enterprise‑architecture guidance.
• Advise technical leadership on architecture-level cyber risk and mitigation strategy.
